| Hi there. Im trying to repair my dome light it wasnt working when i bought the car. The other day i took it apart and saw it was broken. im going to buy a new fixture but my question is there were a brown wire and a white wire connected to it i noticed when i was removing the vent system in the trunk today "because im instaling j pipe is why but thats a whole different subject that there is a brown and white wire laying unconnected to anything de of my on the right side of my trunk coming out like on the fender looking at it from the front. I beleive theese are the dome light wires. Now my question is where do they hook in to to make the dome work. There are no clips on them just straight wire. Or could they be something else. | Sorry im on a shitty smartphone and cant figure out howtoadd thepic. No big feal though ill just explain. Its jus cracked on the switch side. On the little plastic prong that holds the coil. |

| ok, i know what you're talking about now. you don't need the spade connector on the wires, just jam one into the ignition spade connector at the fuse box and the other end on another lead. when the light turns on you know you've found one that will work. if you really want it stock you can find your wiring diagram here http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/wiringt1.php |
