Maybe it is already posted here, I tried to find it but there are so many dead pictures here that I gave up. Here it is none the less, complete with the appropriate oil puddle!
If we're posting stupid stuff, then i'll add these.

there's even a plug underneath which means that's a big enough trailer to have lights so its not like its a small trailer you might use for say hauling leaves around your yard or something.
I wonder how much the cover flexes and how much the force of the trailer pushing forward when you stop has caused the gears to eat into the cover?
in all actuality, its probably been in use like this for over a decade |

At the very least it looks like they used longer studs to take advantage of all the thread in the case. I had a bay-window with an oil pump mustache bar adapter, the stock studs were holding on by about 1 twist. Guess what happened next. |

30 PSI at 2000 RPM.
The weight of the ball perhaps? |

I am guessing this was done on purpose on one of those "slammed" cars to keep the edges of the oil inspection cover from catching on man hole lids on the road?

Poor man's deep sump and self drain oil system, also useful for finding your way home. |

No, it was posted by a "young lady" that asked why the studs were not long enough.
The picture was a keeper. |

I'd love to hear that thing run, and there is a temp gauge that'd be a fun experiment. |

That custom with a “k”.
I’m more curious on the narrowed rear axles. |

If you are so obviously not running front brakes you don't want to be easily identified. |

One of the reasons Ed hated 'Wishbone' was Revel didn't want to pay him to build a model of it. He also hated the way it rode. He cut it in pieces, and told Dirty Doug to throw it away. Doug stashed it away and sold it to Ed's son, Reno (that's Reno in the pic). Reno restored it, much to Ed's dismay.
My brother had a ragtop named the 'Ol Gray Mare'. Ed lettered it on the back of his Wink mirror. Ed was responsible for numerous parts on the ragtop. He had a mini junkyard in his backyard. My brother would come with a question, and Ed would send him to the backyard to grab more parts. |

Pretty obvious he hated it. No fan, no cooling tin, no air cleaners... the only thing left to do to try to kill the engine would be to run it without oil as well. |
