Swapped the Vanagon, 66 bus and the 181 today. Big V has small flower on a 2K gear upgrade to absorb the 3.3 SVX(Weddle guts). Oiler plates added. Feel good there. The 66 looked untouched. Nothing major on that magnet, same as the 181.
Such a funky smell......Memeroies of Dead Tour and Buss Life.
Miss my shop time on occasion.... |

ayup... once you're stunk up from one change, might as well do them all!
just ordered another gallon of Swepco 202 as my 'settling jug' of 202 only had 3 qts. now i can have a full change on hand plus some for running onto the garage floor. |

| When I grow up, I want to be just like you two! I have a partial jug of 202 on the shelf.. Seems like it was expensive enough two years ago, and I should really do more than just my DD when considering maintenance schedules... My Auto should get something in the non-ATF section, sometime soon I guess. Just turned 77K mi on it today :-) My DD will turn 350Kmi on the ODO within the next two weeks. Its actually got a minimum of 2K more miles on the rig than the ODO, and likely much more. I experienced two broken speedo cables so far. Something like 12 tanks of gas (total) between the two breakages before I fixed each one. The PO must have also needed to replace it, but I don't have his records. |
