New member. First post. I haven't found any other posts about this topic specifically so I thought I'd graduate from lurking and start my first thread.
I've had this '78 Riviera since 2013 and my attempts to restore it have been in fits and starts. I keep getting it running and then some internal engine tragedy occurs that sets me back again. Amazingly its (sort of) running now!

Anyway, a few years ago, shortly after first getting the bus, I put new foam and upholstery in the rear z-bench and rock-and-roll bed cushion. Photos of the original seats are below. In the process and like a dummy, I seem to have lost the arm rest assembly that goes next to the z-bench. Anyone have specs for me to rebuild one? I'd also try buy one if I came across it for sale. I could just wing the rebuild, but I'm trying to adhere to the original as much as possible. Of course, I understand color matching the original melamine will be difficult.

Here's the arm rest I'm talking about:

In the spirit of the holiday...... you are one lucky SOB.
Lets Pay It Forward.

We are currently rebuilding two Rivieras (see signature line) and we have the armrest you need. It is far from perfect, but its all there. The one we have has the original wood grain finish and I think what you have are Vanagon cabinets? You could probably glue new matching laminate over it.

So far we have rebuilt just about every inch of both buses (one of them for the third time) so if you have any questions, we might be able to help, or take a sample photo, or 'whatever'.

PM me your info and we can figure out how to get it to you.
