I got water entering from somewhere that is filling the rear most shelf at the back of the overhead A/C cabinet during rain storms. I have been unsuccessful at locating the source and I am open to ideas of places to seal. Perhaps this is a common issue. Anyone else have this happen?

Take a look at the integrity of your rear hatch seal. The purpose of all the seals on any car is to keep water out. If water is coming in, you probably have a bad, damaged, or unseated seal.

I will double check, but it is not running down the back hatch door. It seems to be coming from else where or I woudl think it would not fill up the shelf...

Water will cling to horizontal surfaces and run quite a way and show up in places you'd never expect. Another thing you can do is have someone run a hose over the back hatch and roof while you sit inside. You can track the water leak that way as well.

Another place to look is the inside the hatch snaps. On the side of the seal, they put some sealant over the
rivets. That sealant may have worn away and water maybe entering there?

Another great place to check! Thanks for the tip.

Mine was leaking through the rain gutter. There was a small rust hole and it allowed the water to run out over the holes above the back shelf.

Siliconed it and it's the June project!
