Anyone?? I need to replace the floor pans, and was told that the GIA pans which are cheaper, is simular as the Thing Pans and will fit.
IS THIS TRUE?? How different are they? before I order anything!

I WOULD ORDER SIMILIAR YEAR PANS.......IF YOU HAVE A 73 THING, ORDER 73 GHIA PAN HALVES......GHIA AND THINGS DID USE THE SAME FLOOR PAN...... |

The thing pans are dimensionally the same however they had a different rib pattern punched into the pan.

I've noticed that Thing Pans are deeper than the Ghia in front of the rear seat. Particular concern with the shallower depth would be the clearance between the seat and battery. |

Ghia inserts could be made to work, the seat tracks are different in a ghia. Do not worry about the battery, there is plenty of room under the thing seat for a group 41 or 42 battery.
