Sorry, you have it all wrong. Does your manual have page 97.200?

#3 gets the load. #5 goes to radiator fan. #1 and #2 Are power and ground to energize the relay. If you are power at the fan switch, that goes to one pin and the other pin is ground. If you wired the fan switch to complete a ground it’s the opposite. Ground comes from switch and power is bat +. M


When adding relays I wire them to work off of switched grounds. Makes wiring much easier. I would also suggest you tube. Your questions reflect a lack of understanding how relays, switches, and consumers operate. Give a man a fish feed him for the night. Teach a man to fish and he will feed himself for life.

They should have their own grounds and don’t connect in a loop. It’s ok if they share the same ground location. But the ground location for the rad fan should be clean with good connection to the van body.

The diagram looks good other words.
