When we were kids, some guy won a Trail 70 at the county fair but didn't want it so my dad bought it for $400.
It was new.
It was a 4-speed CT-70, with a clutch.
It topped out at 45mph.
We kids totally ruined it, but it took awhile.
That was in Hawaii. |

LOL! My friend had one when we were about 13 years old. Having never ridden a motorbike before, I hopped on and immediatly dropped it but didn't let go of the handlebars. It drug me through about 10 meters of grass and bushes before I finally let go. We never did figure out if that wreck caused the flat tire or vice-versa.
To this day I have NO interest in anything with two wheels AND a motor (possibly reinforced by wrecking my other friend's Sauron a couple years ago). |

That’s a fuel tank for my cheap Chinese diesel heater. Holds a little less then a gallon which is enough for a long weekend in our current climate! The swing out is from an older Kia sportage on a custom bumper. |
