I've seen a lot of people asking about this on allmost every forum . Why not post what we have on our buses to help others to get their bus on the road with class .  |

I always liked those alum. spoke wheels that came as an option I think? It seems like they would be on the late 70's bays. |

My original rims now have 440,000 miles. Never need balancing.
Michelin XH 4 195 75 14 w/ 70,000 miles.

I like the stock drop disk silver rims with hubcaps |

Me to!!! I'm currently running stock
original ones ,but i sandblasted them and after primered I gave them a nice coat of mint green polyurethane paint, added thin white walls tires
( 185x 14).With the original hub caps polished and shinny they look great!!!!!.  |

Stock 14s painted pastel white, with thin whitewalls and chrome hubcaps. Maybe I'm just odd, but I think all the aftermarket wheels look rather stupid on buses, especially bays. Why put racing wheels on a bus? |

Well I am running GoWesty alloys with Michelin X "The One" 215/65/15. I like them. They have helped greatly diminish the "windwag" I was having and I think they look pretty good on this bus.
If you want to see them, send me an e-mail, I will send you a photo.

I have the stock 14's with a nice coat of rust adding contrast to the chrome stock hubcaps. I will sand and paint them gray soon.
For shoes, I have the Sears Trailhandler 195, 75 r14's. They are an improvement over the PO's choice of tires. The Trailhandler's do well off pavement but like to dance at high speeds. I don't recommend them. I would like to have white walls. |

I just sold my 71 bay deluxe with those stupid BRM's. :P The ones that changed my o/d of my tire/wheel enough to get me to 80mph cruising speed with about 90hp 1641cc. |

80 CRUISING speed? I might hit it going downhill with a tailwind, but I don't think I'd ever cruise there? Trying to keep up with the flow of traffic in a bus is pretty much like entering a tugboat in the America's Cup  |

How do you get 90 hp from a 1641cc engine? |
