hey everyone. i need help almost died on the way home from worek today. okay, i painted my wheels earlier today, and the bus was hanging up in the air on a lift for about 3 hours and i was all happy with how the wheels turned ot, put them back on and went on my way to work, about 1 mile after i left the house my steering wheel tried to jump out of my hands, i pulled over thinking one of the wheels was loose, checked them all, nothing tight as could be. okay so i get back on the road and keep on truckin, a couple miles later, it does it again, shuddered really raelly bad, got to work, and on the way home it tried to jump off the road with the same symptons, speed doesnt seem to have any effect on it, and braking i dont think does. im at a loss and i need my bus to get around, but im kinda freaked out over this now. does any one have any helpful advice, ever had this happen to you???
thanks in advance
justin  :?:  |

Have you crawled underneath and given the front suspension a good going over? Look for any loose joints, or bolts etc. Jeremy |

I agree, somethings bent or broken. I'd check everything in the front linkage/ steering. While you're under there, I would go ahead and lubricate everything for good measure if it's been a while. |

Tie rods. Replace the bad ones. DIY, then get an alignment. |

Or if nothing seems to be wrong underneath, maybe you just let some evil spirit into your front end when you had your wheels off.
