I picked this bug up locally on Vancouver island
Here are some pics i hope you like it!
More to come soon....
took the body off
The pan is in good shape it just needs a good cleaning and paint job
started on the air ride, the passenger rear is now mocked up and assembled.
The blank slate i started with
Added the cross tube for the top bag mount
Then the front mount for the bottom bag mount
I'm using the shock mount as the rear lower bag mount
Top air bag mount finished
Bottom mount that i made out of some MazdaSpeed 3 rear camber arms and some tube and plate
Bag attached to the lower mount
Bag mounted and test fit
It should be nice and low when its aired out

I need to relocate the lower shock mount however. The theory being, it'll help the speed when raising. Like your out of the box thinking so far. I chickened out when it came to bagging the rearend. I'm not going that low anyway, and with a 2332, 75 shot, and a berg 5, I figured a click or two is more than enough! |

| sounds like a nice bug, i have a 1915 that is getting a turbo and efi... but that's along way down the road. I have a lowered bay window that has been steeling time lately but that is almost done and i will be back on the bug soon. |
