oh my god, it's a crazygood party machine. no way would i be cool enough for that vehicle, it needs a wildgood owner.

It would have looked a lot better if they had melded two beetle rear halves together at the b-posts, and then put it up top.

I wouldn't own it, but it looks like it would make a pretty roomy camper. IMO, it's no uglier than a hightop.

Back in my colledge days, circa 1974, I had a friend, Chris, who was from Malibu, CA. His family was totally "Hippie" types, extreme even by CA standards, but very cool. Anyway, he build a bus with a bug roof. It was similar, bay window bus, bug top with all the windows. The bug was set a little farther back which I think gave it a little better look. Anybody remember Chris and his domed bus?

Of course I do.. everyone knows Chris.. he and I go way back!! (Chris was a guy right)??

Actually I was born shortly after the Chris era.. but I think I read about it in the "Book on Way out there Hippies of the California in the Post Acid Wave Period"
