| Has anyone ever thought about(or done) a beetle om to a 914 pan? What kind of problems would you run into with wheel base, mounting bolts, etc, etc. Sems like a great thing if it could be done. Later model brakes, 5 speed tranny, type 4 motor all under say a 56 bug. That'd be one hell of a beetle! |

| I think the porsche pan is wider and shorter than the bug. That is one problem. |

| 914 is unibody. mid engined. nothing near the dimensions of a 56. you would have as much luck putting it on a fiero! |
