Everett,
I'm not able to contact sellers via email button on classifieds. When clicking - it takes me to the email page. But, once I enter my message and submit, I get an error message. Tried with multiple classifieds and got same result.

Not sure if it's been reported to you or not, but I'm not getting classified ad email alerts anymore. This has only been since the site was down last night. I've been waiting to see that I've all of a sudden got 200 emails! :D

Yes, I just found out that was broken too.
It should be fixed now.
Unfortunately I will not be sending out any alerts out that could not be sent as this is difficult to determine what was missed.

Yes, this is fixed now too.
The emails that were tried to be sent were stored on the site so I was able to resend anything that gave an error.

Thanks!

The site was down from Saturday around 5:30AM PST until 6:30PM Sunday PST.

Sorry for the issues.

My web host had a power failure, which was repaired Sat. evening but the site encountered some issues when it rebooted.
It was running but could not be "found" on the Internet, which took another day to resolve.
(Yes, annoying)

I immediately thought it had been hijacked by Russians. :D

Glad to see it's back up.

Ahhhhhh....got my daily Samba back \:D/

It seemed like an eternity, but actually two days is pretty good for a large failure like you were victimized by. Glad it's back up and you can enjoy your Labor Day!

Thanks for all you do Everett. No need to apologize! Your site is a gift daily to many.

...and for those who missed the site, consider a donation to keep it going, now that you know how much you'd miss it!

(no, Everett didn't pay me to say that!)

Sorry there was an issue last night/this morning related to our recent server repair.
The web site couldn't find the database to talk to it so the site was down.

Networking issue... loose crimp connection on the coil wire? :D

It is fixed now.

Globespotter Tue Mar 16, 2021 10:43 am

Thanks for the update!

Sorry that there were some issues early this morning and then around lunch time with the site. (California times)

It was related to the previous issue last week.

Hopefully all resolved now.

I'm really good at crimping RJ45 on Cat6 if you need a hand.

You're overfeeding the hamster. I recommend smaller breakfasts and a lighter lunch. :D

What's up with the pop up ads that have started showing up since the site problems happened earlier this week?
