The Fiamma looks expensive, at least here in Canada. Any other concepts?
Thanks Lee |

No doubt the Fiamma is fancy and easy to deploy, but I am not exactly sold on them. In the interim we purchased one of these. http://www.busdepot.com/a7905 A few members have posted they like them. We have not had a chance to test it yet. The weather here in Florida is just starting to cool off. mark |

The Fiamma is worth every penny. Check Go Westy at the end of the year or even now, as they will be selling off last years model.
I love mine.

I had a cheapo awning and I never used it. Once I got a Fiamma, I use it all the time. Well worth the money. |

After three awnings I finally sprung for the Fiamma 45. I have used it for three years now. The ease of use is phenomenal. Its how an awning should be. Ease of use. Use all the time not just on extended stays. |

Even when I have seen them on sale they weren't reduced all that much. But I still want one! Warrior, is that the 8 or 10 foot model in your photo? |

Lee-
You might also want to take a look at the Shady Boy awning made in Canada. I have one and really like it.
Everyone I know that has a Fiamma really likes it, but I did not want an opaque awning here in the Northwest where camping is often in low light and/or rain. I just makes the van too dark inside all day. The Shady boy has several fabric options....we chose the transparent light blue. The Shady boy also weighs only a fraction of the Fiamma.
Good luck in your search. |

It is a 10', but I also bought an 8' for my wife's former Syncro.....I got them both for under $900 two years ago. GW sale. I did use 3 mounts for both.
Here is the 8'er on my wife's Syncro.
