Hey all, recently bought a 66 hardtop and cant quite figure out what the name of the color is. I think it is Sea-Blue, but cant be sure. Is there any way to find out, other than ordering the vehicles birth certificate. I know for fact it is original color. Wolfsburg West site has some colors, but nothing looked right. :?

The Sea Blue from the Wolfsburg West site looks wrong to me:

It's a dark blue but lighter than that in real life.

I thought the color was wrong. Hey Everett, I tried twice to load my picture on the avitar, what is wrong? Here is another link....

That picture you linked to is too big to use as an avatar. I shrank it and added it for you.

Your Bug looks Sea Blue in the picture to me.

do a search, paint codes are asked almost on a weekly basis and am tired of reposting the same info...

Kubel Nick, I have done many searches, and the only resource I have come up with is on the Wolfsburg West site, which does not show the color correctly....

Don't rely pn the exact colors from their site to match your color, the shades will vary depending on the camera used to take the picts, monitor and settings you're using, etc.
