Sunday April 28th, 2013 - The CVA’s 23rd Annual Spring Dust-off, Mansfield Hollow State Park 195 Bassett Bridge Road, Mansfield, CT from 9am to 3pm. Held rain or shine. This is an informal, non-judged car show. Dash Plaques to the first 100 cars. Last year we had almost 250 cars, so arrive early. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the cars and your fellow VW comrades! No alcohol or burnouts!
Sunday May 19th, 2013 – The CVA’s 2nd Annual Marlborough Moose Lodge Swap and Meet-Up. Address: 303 South Main St. Marlborough, Ct. 06447. A fun gathering of VW’s both new and old. Dash plaques for the first 100 cars. Come and enjoy a show like they used to be. Just 20 min outside of Hartford. Directions, from Rt.2 West take Exit 15, East bound take Exit 13 and follow the VW show signs.

Saturday June 8th, 2013 – Cardone & Daughter VW Road Show, Cardone & Daughter Automotive, 177 Boston Post Road Westbrook, Ct. 06498. An informal gathering for all Volkswagen fans from 10-2pm. Tour the shop and talk with the experts. Free coffee and donuts to begin our day, then hot dogs and burgers on the grill at noon.
Sunday July 14th, 2013 -The CVA’s 9th Annual Volks-Meet at it’s “NEW LOCATION” Address: Westbrook Elks Club 142 Seaside Ave. Westbrook, Ct. 06498. Show is open to all Volkswagen and German cars, owners and fans. Dash plaques and goody bags to the first 100 cars. Come and spend a hot summer day with your vdub at the beach! Directions, I-95 North or South take Exit 65, turn South onto Rt.153, turn South onto Rt.1, and turn left onto Seaside Ave.

Monday August 19th 2013 - Mark’s Auto Parts VW night 22 Russell Rd East Granby CT from 5 - 9 pm (Rain date August 26th) This is a huge classic car cruise that brings in over 900 cars a week! Saturday September 21st 2013 – Montesi Volkswagen & the CVA’s 2nd Annual Das Auto all VW Car Show
444 State St. North Haven, Ct. 06473 from 9am – 2pm (rain or shine) $5 for show cars, general admission FREE!
Sunday October 20th, 2013- The CVA’s 15th Annual Fall Foliage Cruise, TBD location, CT from 9am to ??? Held rain or shine this event will begin at a to be determined location and will wind through the scenic roads of Connecticut with a few stops along the way. Please bring a picnic lunch. There will be a dinner after the cruise for those that are interested. Come and enjoy the colors of fall with us. |

The Moose Lodge show was really nice last year. Definitely going to try to make that one again.

Wow, *tremendous* work guys--that's one heck of an impressive lineup of cool events--I can't wait for 2013!
Like thewalrus said, I also thought Marlborough was a really fun time.
And VolksMeet in Westbrook too--wow!
I had a really tremendous time at the first-ever CVA/Montesi "Das Auto" event, ref: http://home.comcast.net/~commonsteve/CVAMontesi2012/ShowReport.html - so great to know that one'll be back for 2013 also.
And the list goes on and on... I can't say enough about how impressed I am withe work the CVA does to create and produce FUN things to do for VW owners in this area.
