Hi all.
My idle stabilization system is currently purposely disabled. Based on some simple tests, no air appears to get past the valve engine off or at idle. But if I rev engine up, on decel, I feel air being pulled in through the valve.
Is this normal? Or, does it matter? i.e. assuming this reduces vacuum at intake plenum, does this matter? Does it affect the AFM?
Though I cleaned ISV not long ago, I have to wonder if it's become inefficient thus causing intermittent issues even with an otherwise functioning idle stabilization system.
I'm using a Gowesty vacuum actuated throttle switch but I doubt it's being affected by this. (on decel)
Thanks,
Neil. |
