| My car has lost power to coil and dummy lights on speedo. THe fuse is good! Any ideas? a 1972 super beetle. |

Work on the loss of power to the coil first, that circuit is not fused (unless someone added an in-line fuse along the way).
Check for 12 volt positive getting to the ignition switch, then out when the key is in the run position. See wiring diagrams in the Tech Section here, upper right hand area. |

Have you lost power to the turn signals, horn, brake lights as well?
If so its probably a wire come off your ignition switch circuit somewhere along the way or the ignition switch itself has gone bad. |
