ive looked in the classifieds for mirrors for my bus but dont see any that look like they ca,e on my bus. its a 64 13 window deluxe. there are 2 holes in the door right below the back edge of the vent window. both sides have them and one door i bought from another bus. the holes are about 2 " apart and go front to back. |

Search for commercial mirrors in the gallery and the forums.
A deluxe likely would have been fitted with Elephant Ear mirrors. |

the commercial mirrors look like they attach at the top and bottom. i dont have that many holes. all the other mirrors i seen in the classifieds hook to the hinge. i dont mind that at all just wondering why these holes are here |

If that is the case then I agree. Weld the holes shut and put on either elephant ears or the little round ones. |

On second though, if it's just 2 holes on the bottom, probably just some weird old mirrors bolted on.
Maybe "Baby Turbos"? The 80s were cruel. |

It's still possible the holes were from the commercial mirrors. We don't know if the op was talking about the window frames coming with the two doors he purchased or, if they did, they may have been changed out. |
