| So after removing the front wheel to replace the rubber fuel lines under the tank, I noticed that the bug that I bought about 2 weeks ago has all four original VW stamped shocks! :shock: They're all obviously blown as going over even small bumps is not fun. Are these worth anything? I know that they can be rebuilt, but would someone want these or should I trash them when I install new shocks? |

| you might try just posting them in the classifieds, but I'm not sure they're worth that much, my '75 has the four original shocks as well, but I'm replacing them and throwing out the originals-personal preference I guess |

| If you've got the storage space, it's not going to cost you a dime to hang onto them. Eventually, they may be worth rebuilding. The trouble is, I don't think anyone can really say if they'll ever be worth anything. Just another one of life's decisions you have to make. You could be throwing away a lot of money or you could just be creating clutter on your shelves, which will create future headaches for you (don't ask me how I know this). :) |
