Does a Bay window 68 - 79 of any year use a Spring behind the window crank handle to keep tension on the panel or did they only use a block of heavy build foam to keep tension and reduce noise and dust infiltration?
I know bugs and Vanagons use them but am unsure about Buses.

| no spring and I wouldn't call it heavy build foam. there was foam around the inner door handle and a small ring around the window crank shaft. in terms of "trim" there was just a plastic disc escutcheon that was pretty much the same size as the back of the crank handle |
