Oh, yeah. Got tickets for Sonny Landreth and Cindy Cashdollar.
Support independent musicians, independent venues and independent ticketing.

Agree, but it's really hard to do with the marketing and ticketing monopolies in place today. |

Not that difficult really. For example I could have seen Bruce in Asbury Park back when he was a nobody.
Tom Petty was like that. He had a cult following. Next thing you knew he was huge.
Trick is to see small acts in small venues before Live Nation gets their hooks into them.

Not necessarily a concert, but I finally got to see Doug Stanhope live last month. We had a blast, and I checked off one of those things I've always wanted to do. Something about a bucket.
Also, Dave Attell was there, and came out on stage for some random fun during the show. Some off-the-cuff ramblings with He, Doug, and the evening's opener Andy Andrist. Dave had headlined the early show, and hung out for some late night shenanigans with his old friend Doug.
After the show, my wife and I were walking back toward's the place we were staying, and we realized we were walking behind Dave as he talked on his flip phone. We had planned to stop at a small pub/diner for a pint, and sure as shit he ducked in there, too. We stopped and said Hi, and he actually convinced us to take a photo with him. It took awhile for my brain to comprehend I was just hanging out with Dave, the Insomniac guy. I'm not really the type to care about meeting famous people, but that was pretty damn cool, as was he. |

That’s a great concert topper.
I was at the airport behind Robert Patrick in the TSA line and asked the guy if I needed to remove my memetic polyalloy ftom my bag. He turned and smiled at me. |

| Saw Paul McCartney Wednesday night in Tulsa Oklahoma. Still sounds good at 83 although he’s lost upper range he makes up for that in shear tenacity and they played for almost 3 hours without a break. The playlist is up at YouTube it covers at least 35 songs not counting encore. Nothing beats the live performance |
