| I start my 914 and drive on the first drive of the day and it runs great. Then I turn her off after I get to destination - run inside - start her up and she becomes sluggish and begins to hesitate from 3,000 to 4,00 rpm. Any ideas? |

Standard problem...to start with. It is heat soaking the cylinder head temp sensor.
This is usually you are running slightly hot in the first place and you probably need a new CHT about $30.
Lastly you may already have your baseline mixture slightly too lean. I say this because there should be enough range to be able to absorb a bit of excessive lean mixture for a few minutes that comes from this common problem (heat soak). Ray |
