Cheers fella. You more suprised that Mo puts up with me now?

RockStock wrote: no, me neither!

Nope! Bodywork nothing to do with Paul this time Chris. Dragged it up to "Streetwagens HQ" where we laid into the majority of it. Jeff @ JCWelding squeezed me in for a few finishing touches 'cos he's a proper gent and a welding demon. Still a few things to finish but it made it to Hessich.... just....... which was the aim of the game :D

I´ve seen it a couple of times here in sweden. I never tought it would hit the road again.

One B-post and both A-posts were cut of by the previous owner. Bengt and Thomas got the A posts for their -50.

F******ck. :o

Please can you lads help me get mine going too? :D

Major props on the rebuild, we saw you guys getting trailered in off the BBT guys in the camping area, wish id have see the before pictures to appriciate it more! 8)

busben Mon Jul 08, 2013 2:41 pm

cheers dude. Yeh shame about the spun drum but many, many thanks to the BBT back up crew, and Pascal in particular for being a proper gent. Next time I'll make sure we have enough time to do all of our own mechanics!! Still, all was fixed by Saturday night thanks to Dai, Buzz & Kev. Cheers for your efforts chaps........ and to everyone else who was searching the Hessich autojumble for the very-unlikely-to-find-at-hessich late bug rear drums! Cheers Bobby for bringing some spares with him in the DKW too!

WOW! That was the best vintage show the world has ever seen! You can look at a million pictures, but until you go...you'll never know. That was awesome! I'd like to thank everyone that put that show on and especially the TEAM! They all did an incredible job, working long hours and running all over town! There was too much to see and do! You couldn't see it all. I'd also like to thank all the people who showed up with a vehicle! and those that just showed up! EVERYONE! Thanks! I can't wait for 2017!

Here are some pictures I took. Enjoy :D

Tune up time with the Duke. This is my best Cunado laser death ray point and Paul Wisk impersonation.

Hotel, motel, Holiday Inn? I don't think so. When super models ask you to camp...that's what you do! If the van is rocking.....

These are nice...reminds me of home 8)

Not too many Amerikantsy doing European studies this year...but I did find this LA exile

Just another normal traffic jam

The Duke of Delft slips past security. Friday was rocking with action!

Swap meet was crazy insane...yes, I found some good stuff...but it wasn't cheap. I ran out of money a few times!

Nice old bus!

Nice old bus two

Nice old buses everywhere!

Old favorite...Mark, I'll come over and give that thing a wax job...for free  Glad you could make it!

These guys were everywhere!

Look at all these guys! "Oh man, if I had that right now, I would be getting all the girls."... "Back in the day, I used to rock a van just like. I had all the lady's friends lined up for rides!"

They were even doing restorations right in the center of town...during the show!

Show winner! I believe this won best of show? I like it! :D

A real family event!! Hitting the streets with the wife and kids in the back. Nice!

The hardcore Brits stayed till the end!

Check this photo out carefully... You can see Jesus looking over my shoulder.

The taxis in town were really nice! Plenty of leg room!

3 weeks in Europe and I stayed in a hotel only one night, but the only room they had left was the Willy Wonka suite. I even found the golden ticket. OKAY! :D
