Stock 1600 FI Motor ...
BOSCH SPARK PLUGS
Bosch Super W8AC Germany has been discontinued.
Replaced / updated with ...
Bosch Super Plus WR8AC ... some are Germany or Brazil.

NGK SPARK PLUGS
Conflicting numbers B6HS or B5HS ?

I've read that the Bosch WR8AC aren't as good as the W8AC plugs.
I'm thinking of trying the NGK spark plugs.
Any comments on these plugs appreciated.

I use the NGK, no problems.

Was going to try the NGK Plugs but was able to locate at NOS box of 10 Bosch W8AC Spark Plugs, Germany this weekend.
Maybe next time.

I've used the stock bosch and ngk plats (thought they were better), and now would say that the NGK copper's are the better choice.

I've been finding NOS Vintage German made Bosch Spark Plugs and recently purchased these VW Type 3 Specific ?
NOS Vintage Bosch Germany, 4-Pack for VW, 4 Spark Plugs
Original sealed packaging.
Bosch Part No. SP 42
Size: W175T1, .028 GAP
Application : Volkswagen
All Fastback and Squareback models with Fuel Injection.
* These were the W175T1 Bosch Spark Plug with the "High Heat Range", made to be used if vehicle is driven at high speed for long periods in areas where the average temp is 77 F or higher, standard Bosch were the W145T1, and then Bosch changed the Part no. to W8A. These were before the Bosch Germany Super Spark Plugs, copper core W8AC. Quality Parts marked Made in GERMANY.
