i have seen this bus at some shows in Arizona years ago and have met the previous owners on occasions. Never had heard about the accident or anything. I hope everyone involved was ok.

look forward to the repair of this one. definitely not the 'one owner barnfind that needs some work'.

My friend imported that Bus with another High-Roof years ago. He then sold it to PLF Dawn/Richard. Your's was the only High-Roof I've ever driven, off-road bashing in the high country of Summit County, CO. Good luck! Looks like a noble project.

He's too busy slaving away on all of his customer projects. Its a "catch 22" though cause he's that good, but because he's that good, there is never a shortage of cars around his shop.

I am 99.99% sure I have seen some "recentish" pics of the high roof. If so, I hope he shows a big ass before pic at The Warm Up (link below) and at Bulli Brigade. This thing will be featured in magazines for that reason alone.

okay okay guys. i hear you. i cant upload build pics from my phone while at work. but i promise by the end of this week ill start posting the tear down and metal fab pics. i think ill hold off on showing any finished pics till YOU see it in person at bulli brigade this year. then ill post all of the most recent ones. :lol:

just a heads up. this bus still isnt in final paint. :shock: however it has been in the booth 4 times already but it just isnt perfect yet, to my standards, and believe me this bus deserves it. 8)

I'm glad you like the shots. It's always good to know any history. When Rob had the Bus, it was paired with another high-roof which ended up in AZ as well (I think). Last time I saw it, it was red and white checkerboard like an Airport service vehicle.

Glad to see it coming back to life!
