I am not sure if I am going crazy or just plain ol be silly but I was looking under the VDub and noticed that I seem to have a adjustable beam. But I cant see any weld markings. Can someone please verify that this in fact is a adjustable beam.
Sorry this is not a very good photo and looks like I need to start cleaning up the poor girl under the front.

1) Support front of car
2) Loosen locknuts & clamp nuts on adjuster plates
3) Rotate plates so screws point more downward (to lower) or more horizontal (to raise). Best to adjust both springs the same otherwise they will be loaded against each other, not ideal.
4) Tighten everything up again.
5) Lower car and check you are happy with the result
Simples  |

Don't forget to check alignment after it has been lowered. You may need to add a set of caster shims if you go to low. |

You have a regular "Fuel line" type hose feeding your master cylinder brake fluid from the brake fluid container up top.
I would change those to the Blue hydraulic hoses that are made to stand up to that fluid.
Otherwise you will slowly get more and more black goo crap in your MC/ Brake lines. |

Those are actually Avis adjusters which is what the Puma beams use.
They fit without cutting the beam. |
