Since Ambulance/Firebus BDs have a singlecab style fuel tank how does one operate the fuel tap? In the photos I've seen they do not appear to have the hole in the side like a SC or a knob/cable like a post BD.

Just an informational need, been puzzling me for a while.

On a '52 ambulance the fuel tap is accessed by a lever that goes through a hole in the firewall on the left side of the engine, similar to what's up front on a split beetle. There's even a beetle-style ZAR tag surrounding the hole.

Thanks for the reply! :D Any photos of the fuel tap handle through the firewall?
