New to theSamba and have a problem: the interior sconce lights in my 67 campmobile have conked out. Bulbs are fine, wiring connects all the way back to the regulator in the engine compartment, but no juice! Any ideas before I put the seats and panelling back in? |

I always assumed the rear sconce lights were wired to the switch on the left side of the speedo pod--the one that controls the rear cargo area light in all other buses. Have you tried flipping the switch on the side of the pod? I don't have a westy so it's just an assumption. |

Test connection at regulator to see if it is hot (12v). |

x2. i would want those on a fuse from the fuse box. i don't believe they were not done that way originally. |

If it's the original Westy harness then there is a bakelite fuse holder on the wire exactly like the back-up light fuse holder. But if it did pop the fuse, why? |

They are independent of the regular dome lights.
They were wired like this, off the VR, with an inline fuse:
Check the wiring in the engine compartment. |

Do you have a good ground to complete the circuit? |
