| before i go and buy a vw bus are there any good books you guys would recommend i look at?also is there a vw bus magazine or anything like that out there? |

Buy a Bentley Manual. You can find them here:
www.bentleypublishers.com
They are the factory manuals and are well worth the money. I would recommend purchasing it through www.busdepot.com, ebay, or another online vendor because you will get a better deal. |

I'd also suggest a Haynes manual if you're looking at Vanagons as well. Step-by-step instructions on almost all repairs imaginable. It'll give you a very, very complete idea of what you're in for if you're going to be working on the van yourself. Paired with a Bentley, it's all you'll need for a Vanagon. |
