All,
The Bradford Exchange "Barn Find" is up and running!
After replacing the tank, (just a ton of grunge) and all the hoses Carb oil and so forth it is now starting up (on the first cranck no less) with no issues.
It is not on the road yet, I don't seam to have blinkers, although I have hazards (still trying to figure that one out, may be corosion on the switch)
Once that is complete, a trip to the DMV will be in order to get her plates and away we go.
So after 20+ years in storage, the durable little 1600 needed just a bit of CPR and was off and running... Impressive!
Have begun collecting parts now.
And as it is not as "Perfect" as once thought, I no longer have issue with the modifications that I planned. (sorry not a purist)
So it has begun....
(just in time for the winter project season!) (oh and yes we do have winter in Las Vegas!!!)
