I am headed to sunny FL after the new year, near the Villages in Central FL. Can anyone provide names and maybe addresses of local VW shops & parts stores there? In cental IL there are not many (any) local shops. Thanks in advance.....

Definitely go see Jr. At Triangle Foreign Auto Parts in Winter Park. Very good guy. Also Scooter at R&S Performance in Orlando...

Sunray is all but closed now.

You're about 1.5 hours from any real VW shops. As mentioned, Triangle Auto Parts (TAP) in Orlando is good to visit.

There's also Sundance Bug and Buggy in Plant City.

Finally, Fisher Buggies in Tampa (about 15 minutes from Sundance).

What dates will you be down? Sunday January 19 theres a VW show in Tampa at Quaker Steak and Lube (kinda a car themed hooters). We usually get over 100 cars for that show.

K & K Foreign Car Parts. It's my one stop shop. I go there at least twice a month. Really good guys over there that'll go above and beyond. There is also a body shop across the street that does vw stuff.
