I know there are people out there who have restored their moldy westy top, what paint did you use? Ive heard that you can use oven paint, but I would think that the fiberglass paint would work better...

whos done what?

any pictures?
:?:

Any hints for insulation or Canvas install?

Thanks!

Search old threads here. Also search the technical archives at Type2.com. Fiberglass boat stuff is what you want to revive the gelcoat. I'm doing the same thing next summer.

Tilex Shower & Bathroom cleaner will clean the top & Bleach it white. Blechwhite white wall tire cleaner will clean it & bleach if it is really really grungy. Just make sure you wax the paint before & after you use it 'cause the bleach will oxidise the paint quickly. Also helps to use lots & lots of water to keep the stuff sprayed off the paint. Good Luck
