O great ski goggles for daily wear with pretentious overtones.
I'll pass on the pajamas for daily wear too. |

Ha! I was in high school when these came out! An "inner city" school back in the day of bussing. They were far from what you describe! Mosty only kids wore them back in the day!
But, to be fair. The Vanagon was a very expensive pretentious minivan back then! Only the richy Rich families had them! |

I wish I still had mine! Oddly one of the colors they introduced was the teal/white combo. Which was my first set (age 15 in 1996). But back then we had to do trades or buy the extra arms to get different color combos.
The funny thing is these were so revolutionary and different that there were a thousand cheesy copies and similar styles released! |

It's really sad that this forum must take itself too seriously and move an era appropriate post to an "off topic" area where the humor is lost  |

1. My negative reply - This has no Vanagon content.
2. My positive reply - Why not let everyone enjoy it.
Accentuate the positive.

I saw the title of this thread and I was wondering why I'd never heard about them stopping tow truck production. |

Posted the same thing in an 80s Porsche forum and everyone there is having a blast with it! Telling stories about their experiences with their 80s shades in their 80s cars. :D :D
It stimulated quite the car discussion.... |

I still have my JT's with the adjustable temple angle. I think I have smoke and yellow lenses for them, too. Might have to dig them out for the summer show season! |
