These are 275/60-15 tires on Weld wheels with a 67 swingaxle and a wide 5 to chevy adapter.

It's not a Manx but a Safari buggy.

I would say it would all depend on what your wheel offset is.
My wheel is an 8 inches wide.

Here are 275 65 15 on a 8.5 X 15 rim with 5.5 inch backspace and a 1/4 inch thick spacer between wheel and disc brake on IRS. The body was 1/4 inch overall wider than my Manx body, (1/8 inch per side wider).

OP Probably meant to say 275/40-15 -

Nitto carries P275/40/ZR15 DRAG RADIAL TIRES

But this is a semi-odd size...

That would be a pretty low profile tire. I would say the ride quality would be hmmmmmm :-k :-k .........what is a good word to describe it..........crap????

I would think the gear ratio would be affected as well.

Cruising 60 mph at 3000-3500 rpm wouldn't be my cup of tea.

A light buggy can easily do better than that.
