You'll have to contact him direct. He no longer uses this site or reads this thread.

Airkewld and our team of PRO's are saddened to hear about all the bad transactions that have happened with Charles and his company. We want to do our part and try and help clients of his that did NOT receive products from him and are still waiting for product.

What we are willing to do is offer a larger than normal discount for products that a comparable, adjustable beams, built beams and adjustable spring plates.

Amazingly enough, we do share clients and we have righted the ship so to speak with several of you already. I want to extend the olive branch here to help you as well.

Please fill out this form http://www.airkewld.com/Atomwerks-s/2370.htm and we will be in touch via email or by phone to come up with a game plan to get you those parts you wanted.

Pete, you might not want to be using his company name....

you wouldn't want any trademark issues to arise..

Ace Fri Feb 05, 2016 4:43 pm

Atomworks could always buy air kewld beams and slap their stickers on em and have air kewld drop ship.

I am one who has accepted Pete's (Airkewld) generous offer to right Charles' (Atomwerk) wrongs. I am very glad I did. Not only are his parts top notch, so is his customer service and tech support. This is the experience I have had with Airkewld over and over again. All of you who are mired in the Atomwerk experience, as I was, will have the experience you were looking for with Airkewld. Thanks Pete for doing it right.

I have also contacted Pete at Airkewld. He was very understanding and helped me put a package of parts together that will get my project on track again. He also sourced a part for me that he normally doesn't carry. Top notch service.

I will try to recover the funds spent 8 months ago with Atomwerk. Not hopeful at this point due to the time passed since the order.

Thanks Pete!

Well yet another failed delivery. Same MO as others here promises to deliver then parts aren't there, broken machines , broken welder, employees leaving, powder coating issues, ups picked it up ups didn't pick it up, sent pictures of things then told they aren't my order, promised aluminum control arms recommitted to steel . My August 2015 order of $8800 has not been filled. No assurances from Charles that I will ever see my money again and if he does refund money he will be grabbing 35% according to his terms.. I have dealt with many custom design shops over past 3 decades and never have I had such a frustrating experience.

Has anyone recently recovered money from him? i used two different Visa cards for this purchase as one was for deposit and other was full payment that he had assured me would speed up delivery.

....I'm bummed. So disappointing to deal with someone like this who has so little regard for his customers.

Do a chargeback on your Visa cards.

I don't know if it'll do any good. We need more complaints filed. Fill out the complaint form.

Just spotted Atomwerks parts for sale on Craigslist:

Reseller? Or is this Atomwerks?

Agreed. BBB has said he is no longer in business. However complaints still stay on record and help all of us in disputes. I'm in middle of recovering over $7k from my card company on undelivered product ordered last year.

Reseller? Or is this Atomwerks? looks like he is dumping product on Craigslist.

He is definitely still in business. I have seen new products being shown on their Facebook page and even managed to get some communication with him via Facebook in an attempt to get my order delivered or refunded. He stated that he is no longer taking orders directly but only through resellers.
He then became quite rude and basically told me to to a chargeback if I wanted as he had replied to my not because I had threatened to try and get my money back but because I happened to catch his eye while he was online and out of the "goodness of his heart"
In fact he said he was losing money just replying to me as he should be in the shop working on new products... zero customer service skills to someone who has waited 10 months with nothing to show for it.
I am attempting to recover my money through my bank.

Last Thursday and Friday he wasn't in the shop working on anything. That's because he was selling at the Portland swap meet. He had about 15 pairs of spring plates laid out. Too bad I didn't know what spec parts he still owes to Samba buyers, I could have taken them away and shipped them. He was nowhere to be seen.

My issue was with "on the shelf" spring plates...4 months, and I pulled the plug on the deal

Bruce =>
Adjustable Racing Spring Plates with Hub Technology 21 3/4" & a 2" drop.

FYI some of his vendors are starting to have problems with him too.

I don't want to have an opinion on this guy, as I can not get that energy back that I lose.

My level of happiness is seeing his clients becoming happy with our products even though he decided to go this route. My heart is out to all those affected by this guy.

Just in dollar amounts of people we have helped, it is over $30k he has taken and not delivered.

Ace Thu Apr 07, 2016 9:51 am

Adjustable dropped plates are garbage anyway. Adjustable plates work well when the axle is toward the middle of the arc as the alignment is minimally affected. Make a dropped plate adjustable you gotta align the rear end for even small height adjustments.

Don't knock another vendor you didn't do business with Pete. Ambulance chasing isn't exactly ethical either.
