When I start my '70 Ghia, release the emergency brake, and try to drive, the care won't move until I give it lots of acceleration. It feels as though something is keeping the wheels from turning. Then it pops and I can drive. Is it maybe a drum or disc that is sticking? |

It sounds like your emergency brake is sticking. Lube up the pivot points on it and you should be good to go. |

Are you in a humid or rainy area? Sounds like your brake shoes are sticking. Happens to me after driving in the rain... |

Maybe you should grease the brake shoe friction surface? |

Might of converted to rear discs necessitating brake pad lube. |
