You'll have vertical play since it's no longer there and it's acts as a oil seal so you might get oil pushed up into the distributor body. |

Thank you
Tcash Different Bosch number, but yes
Code: 111 905 249 = 1 230 107 008
059 905 259 A = 1 230 107 011
011 is the replacement for the 008 |

From another topic. He's selling them for $1 each. I have them also but sell them with an assortment of metal shims and usually provide technical support for their installation.
That are NLA, so I have to make sure I have enough for my rebuilds since the Bosch kits only come with one and you need 2. And the aluminum model only need the washers. |

Thank you for the promotion Glenn. You are correct. My knowledge about these distributors is at an engineering level. I can measure them, check them with an oscilloscope, and check that data against a mathematical calculation to ensure correctness. I also sell the OEM parts to completely rebuild them.
You are like the car part place down the road. I went in there to buy a ball joint. He told me "Make sure you put these in the right way. You see this little notch. Line it up here and here." He knew this from many years of experience. |
