| Sales flap was coachbuilt in Sweden for the first owners, a mobile record store. 2nd and 3rd owners were fishmongers. The rear hatch is factory from what me, Mark and some others could work out, early versions of M053 were designated M052, and even those aren’t early enough to be this type. Vin is 20-03562, so upright spare wheel, flat gutter, rear badge, inside cradle van. It’s been with Mark since before he started type29, there were a lot of details to check and get right. So many small differences this early, I think its driven Mark a bit more crazy over the years  |

Great stuff !!! good work takes time ! :D What about the sill height on the side flap. very unusual ! is there a second floor or substructure in the van ? if so, steel or wood ?
being a rolling record store sounds nice ! I wonder what they sold or if they recorded/taped some early Raggare type of music ? |

It’s as it was, I haven’t actually measured how high it is from the stock cargo floor, I’ll grab a couple of old 78’s and see how they line up on the floor 8) The town was Stortorget in Vetlanda, but I haven’t found out anything about the company unfortunately.
And yes, you know what I mean about Mark 8) |

have you tried contacting the vetlanda library? they might be able to look through old directories or archive newspaper adverts...

Maybe, he wants to remember, was, is a fan of Amii Stewart (1979), and likes to knock on wood? |

Sometimes need and the lack of money lead to strange modifications.
ie. needed a new tank in his Bug and had an old bus sitting around that had a good tank. |
