Hey there, lookin to get my bus painted around the Portland, Oregon area by someone who paints on the side, loves two tone buses, and does a pretty good job. Not lookin for show quality, just something I can drive away from my wedding in and the wife will not be too pissed about my only request (To drive away in our Kombi and not a limo )
Major Woody said he knew a guy, but I can not get ahold of him.

Thanks,

Drew Conant

*wedding is in June, so I have to get this done around April/ May

HI!

I saw your ad about needing a paintjob and thought I would advertise myself. Here' a link to this summer's big two tone job...

My name is Ryan Short and I own Short's Euro Custom in Bellingham Washington. I guess I am about five hours north of you, but worth every minute! I do high dollar work for low dollar costs since my shop is at home, and I am an avid VW owner, driver and lover!! I have professional autobody shop experience and years of shop ownership. I have several samba regulars for reference if you need.

Monday I am getting a 55 Kombi in for paint. I personally own a beautiful black-flamed 58 bug, a 53 oval (my latest project!) a 73 standard bug- owned since new!! a 63 Ghia, a 65 panel (not for long!) and soon to obtain my 56 single cab. I am currently restoring the ghia, the 53, a 64 Puck trailer and a 70 hardtop westy to match. I just finished a sweet 67 Triumph tr-4 and I do this full time. I have a paint booth and a heated shop.
The bus in the link is owned by a local friend and is very happy with the work. I charged a little over $3,500 for the job, beating all other estimates by thousands of dollars. I can do great work for less. Call me @ 360-223-1814 for more information. I can arrange for transport if you desire.
Thanks
Ryan Short :!:

By the way, $3,500 got him a $10,000 job- so figure what $1850 can get you!
