I have little time and a lot of parts needs for my '82 ac westy. Im thru with brousing thru a ton of parts that don't pertain to my vehicle when I specify my vehicle per their website home page. Can anyone point me in the direction of a serious seller? I really don't want to have to visit brick and mortor but im finding that a web based seller is waisting my time.
My needs are engine, fuel injection, emission, transxle and accessories like tents and such. Sewfine has me covered on the interior.
Thanks....and thanks for listening to my rant

lol. i can guess which site you are using, but i won't say anything. how about giving them a call on the phone. there are several sellers whose websites are really not great - painful even - but often those sites have people behind them that are really stellar in customer support, even if the website isn't great.

I cannot guess which vendor has your knickers in a twist -- but with most of them you can get to the part you seek (or discover they do not have it) if you search by part number.

A part number search usually cuts through all the near-misses that a descriptive search turns up.

Worse yet, are the vendors who sell you items that don't fit or are clearly quite different than advertized. Rebuilt parts that are hacked together in some dubious sweatshop, or premium $ parts clearly made in the same Chinese factory as their lesser offerings. Welcome to the aftermarket supply-chain in 2014. It's industry wide, so at least Vanagon vendors aren't the only purveyors of endless frustration.

I wont mention the vendor, im not trying to harm anyone or have a detrimental affect on a companies business. I appreciate your input...but if I have to place a call...whats the web for?

My knickers aren't in a twist :)
my story...6 days a week away from home and the web ( home sunday) and trying to order parts for my daily driver. What has me going is ill performing websites when all my vehicle info has been input.

I should mention im talking about Vanagon and vw specific vendors. Ebay and Amazon type vendors are some of the worst imho
