Just picked this up. Former Roanoke VA VW dealer truck. Pretty solid rig with mostly original sheet metal. Rockers aren't orginal and the doglegs were replaced sometime in the 70's.
The big bummer is the guy I bought it from decided to paint over the original paint and lettering with a rather rushed paint job. It is a bit wavy and still shows some warts and bruises but it isn't a rust bucket.
