Yeah, yeah, I know. It was 'sposed to be done by late May. I had other things to do. Big things. Important things.
Okay, I just slacked of and watched TV shows and stuff. But I'm old and Westy restoration is still work...
Anyhow, a prospective buyer is coming next week, and I'm about done with the Rootbeer Westy. I've kept it pretty traditional, although the seats have been rebuilt with fresh rubber foundations, the seat side panels have been replaced with vinyl since they get a LOT of wear, and about everydangthing has been cleaned, fixed, replaced or spiffied up a bit. I put in a new fridge, and the new owner wants to put in his own solar charging system for the two new batteries. We replaced the front lower and upper ball joints, outer tie rod ends, brakes, plugs, wires and distributor cap and rotor. Also, new shocks and belts and of course, a new stereo with iPod port. It's an auto with air and does NOT leak from the top of the gas tank or the *$%# push rod sleeves!
