Not paid.....they are actually my sister-in-laws so I was just helping them out!

What's the story with the Kansas plate in the rear and the Calif. plate in the front?

I can't quite put my finger on it but I like the following photo shoot better than the one with the Bug. =P~

What I can't figure out is why are Emily and Elizabeth living in Lawrence, Kansas? They could take Los Angeles or New York by storm!

In Kansas we only have to have a plate on the back....the front plate is a "vanity" plate. My brother found that plate in a antique shop...it has my initials on the plate "EJS"

I will pass on the complements to Emily and Eliz.

whoooooooaaaaaa no spindle alert. Wheels are sitting ugly, too far forward in the wheel well. Bet it handles like a dream.... :roll:

Aftermarket steering wheel looks funny in the close up too. Awesome deal though, those are some high quality pictures.

I think it is poppy red.....it has had a respray in the past 15 years or so......I always say it is a 20 footer....looks great from 20 feet away but as you get closer you see the faults.

Car drives great....straight as an arrow...no shakes at all....sorry.

Steering wheel is not aftermarket....stock vw wheel....previous owner had a nice banjo wheel in it at one point.

Not a perfect car by any stretch....but I like it!
