when the disclose of the fine print is upfront or before you hit pay ..... I agree is normal but NOT after you paid for the items
sound to me very scary
It is not a used car or craiglist that I just bought "AS IS"
I just bought a NEW piece of equipment for my car, NEW item, should have warranty...
I hope evreything goes fine.... |

CB is probably the longest running aftermarket supplier of vw parts, for a reason. |

I have bought several times from CB Performance. No issues.
The disclaimer is pretty standard, especially for "racing/performance" parts. |

Cb has a great rep, due to tons of orders their shipping is slow for that reason. They will back up a faulty part if it doesn't work as designed. Dont panic. Disclaimers are standard for any company. Did any of your parts not work? |

CB can't guarantee the shipper will do their job right. They aren't obligated to back them up.
If the stuff shows up damaged by the shipper, this disclaimer basically lets you know that you deal with them (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc) about the damage they caused, not CB. Because the stuff was fine when CB handed it to them.
Standard stuff from any mail order company. |

CB is a top notch company. That fine print is because everyone is so "sue ready" these days. If you have a problem with any CB part, they will make it right. |

Been buying stuff from them for many many years without a problem and I'm here in the middle of the pacific! Shipping is a lil pricey thats my only complaint with them and that's only cause they don't use USPS. Costs me like 20$ shipping for one of there slim sump 2$ gaskets. So I ordered 4 then changed to a Jaycee sump plate!! Nice one lol. HATE IT when that happens. But don't worry they're a great company! |

CB's "Shipping and Returns" policy is clearly shown on their website, so that you can read about it prior to placing your order.
As stated, it is no different than any other business will state...it is the carrier's responsibility to deliver undamaged goods. I live outside the USA, and my CB orders have always arrived well-packaged, in order to protect parts from damage during transit. |

Long time CB customer here as well. If you have an issue, and I'm sure you won't, communicate with them. Communication solves a large host of problems.
I bought Brakes from them, had to send them back and be fixed...they took care of it. |

You won't have any problems with CB, they been around since before me and I suppose they will still be here long after I'm gone. Pat comes on here every now and again, communication is key. Don't drag them through the mud publically till you give them a chance to make things right- they have a good reputation but they won't bend over backwards for people making ham-fisted attempts to defame them online. |

Pat is a nice guy, and he cares about how customers see CB's products because he is involved in the development of them. He was once in one of the VW magazines as one of the top 10 engine builders in the world. |

How old are you?
Most of that is standard bulloney that probably means nothing.
If you have a problem with CB, and YOU handle with a cool head, then your problem will be resolved fairly. |

Why are you ragging on CB Performance? If you go to the bottom of their home page and look under "Helpfull Info" All the fine print is right there to read before you buy if you take the time. They didn't hide anything
That said, I have 2 aluminm case engine and all the parts are from CB and never had a problem with them and they have been more than helpfull with anything I've had questions about or needed help with.
