I am getting ready to install my newly built motor in my 73 Westy and currently cleaning the transmission up before bolting the motor to it. It has an 003 Automatic transmission and the front mount is in two pieces. Is this mount suppose to be like this or is the mount shot?

| I also have an 003 transmission, but my mount was either slightly different than yours or home-made. I think yours was originally vulcanized rubber to steel bracket. It might still work like that. Come to think of it, that may be why mine might be home made? |

| I found your post originally when you were asking about your mount. I was thinking of making a new one out of another mount and fitting it to my bus, but wanting to make sure mine wasn't good to begin with. |
