I buy a single cab and will repair it so
i think its maybe helpful for some people here that i post some pictures of this work.

The Singe cab have a very hard live here on a Farm in Austria but
since 1975 nobody look at her...

This one is for USA market.. so it doesn't come with semmphores..also it has diferent tail lights.

2 different people. The pic you showed is from the original poster, the restored bus is from another users comments.

So i strip down the chassis from all the parts to work on a clean body.

I too have a 57 single cab and am just about ready to go to paint.
Built a tilt rotiserie of sorts and didn't have the rust you have but still had a ton of work. (working those long gates is a BITCH!)
Pic is right before we began work..

I'll try and post up some more pics, and keep us updated!

My sister lives in Bad Fischau, used to live in Linz, too. There is also a gentleman who restores and rebuilds Busses in Bad Fischau, mostly Bay windows I think.
