hey guys. Im removing the carburetors from the intake manifold to clean them out. each carb is mounted with four bolts. the ones in the back are very difficult to access. what tools have you guys used to successfully remove the 12mm nuts from the backside of the carburators?
thank you guys

I use a stubby 12mm wrench bought specifically for that job.

I bought a 12 MM combo wrench (12 point) and cut it in half with a grinder. Be very careful not to drop any nuts/washers down the manifolds! Cover the manifold with a clean rag immediately after you remove either carb.

I use a 1/4" swivel socket on a extension. Also keep a small telescoping magnet to pick the nuts and washers up before removing the carbs...

Another suggestion with Zeniths is to remove the mixture screws so you do not bend them with wrench swings. My car had some when I first purchased it. Do not loose the springs.
I like to cover the carburetor intakes while working and account for all pieces before pulling the carbs off. Then quickly plug the manifolds.
