I sent a money order in November to join the KGC of North America,as
of yet I have gotten back nothing.The club president who I had a difficut
time contacting(he thought my email was spam) told me he would have
the person in charge of membership look into it.The money order compa-
ny said it wasn't cashed yet,contacted the president haven't heard back.
Does anyone hear belong to the club and if they do could they help me
out,this is alot just to join.It told me 10 minutes to join the American
Legion!

If you haven't done it yet sign up for the email list. The president and the officers all all pretty active over there and questions get answered very quickly via that list.

I belong to the list, but have never bothered to join the organization. I should, but I think the list is where the action is.

JHC,what commands did you use to send a confirmation? Majordomo
keeps sending me messages saying this or that's wrong.I sent money
to join if they want to piss around,they can send it back,can always
use it for the car.

Yeah, there's something weird there. It did the same thing to me. As I recall the instructions they give are incorrect. I forget the problem, but it tells you to do this:

Quote: The body of the mail must only contain one line, requesting to subscribe you. It is of the form:

subscribe karmannghiaclub [[email protected]]

For example, if you were Bill Gates, you'd send:

subscribe karmannsghiaclub [email protected]

I think you need to add the brackets, so it REALLY should be:

subscribe karmannsghiaclub [[email protected]]

You might need to play around with it, but I got the same error message until I started changing stuff.

If you notice above, it says to do this:

subscribe karmannghiaclub [email protected]

The example has an extra s in karmannSghiaclub, so that is probably the issue. You do not need the brackets.

I got in touch with the guy that runs it,he got me hooked up.
